    Based in downtown Salt Lake City, our team builds industry leading services that help consumers access, understand, and verify their credit reports are fair, accurate, and substantiated.     Responsibilities

    • Support the day-to-day operations of all on-prem and cloud server environments by monitoring system performance, configuration.
    • Plan, provision, allocate and maintain all cloud implementations in the environment.
    • Analyze and improve cloud system availability, security, scalability, and performance.
    • Installs, modifies and maintains systems and utility software on all systems. Provides support related to other software installed.
    • Migrate new and current system types, architectures, and applications from on-prem into cloud. Write custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability.
    • Maintain all environments through regular maintenance and repair, including all OS patching, firmware updates, and hardware upgrades.
    • Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical systems.
    • Troubleshoot complex problems as required/requested. Coordinating efforts with various groups to provide resolution on production problems.
    • Work with vendors to assist in supporting maintenance and troubleshooting efforts.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge of:

    • Cloud Architecture and administration (AWS, CloudFormation)
    • VMWare (vCenter and ESXi)
    • In depth knowledge of FTP, DNS, Proxy, CIFS, NFS, DHCP
    • Scripting (PowerShell, Batch, Bash, Python, AWS CLI)
    • Backup and recovery procedures
    • Cisco Server Hardware environment (UCSM, C-Series servers, B200 Series blades)
    • OSI Model and how it relates to server infrastructure
    • System performance monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, OpsGenie, CloudWatch)
    • Effective project management techniques

    Ability to:

    • Plan, organize and document complex system design activities and to configure systems to be consistent with institutional policies/procedures
    • Communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing
    • Establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility when working within teams
    • Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively
    • Principles and practices of effective time management; written and verbal communication skills

    Qualifications:

     

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis. 3-4 years of work experience in complex systems design implementation and support.
