    Recruiting is the first domino of any employment process, and this position owns that key function for the entire company. This person will drive Progrexion towards meeting our ever-growing and aggressive demands for talent, in markets where – like most of the country – hiring has become increasingly challenging with full employment. We need a leader who strives to set the bar high and will passionately seek to attract and retain top talent with a focus on diversity.

    It’s a call-center environment for our line-level jobs. Our agents can do puzzles while they work, shoot hoops from their desks and have a tremendous amount of latitude when it comes to managing their day. The job is challenging and it’s not for everyone so recruiting for these positions is tough. Corporate positions are typically in Salt Lake City, UT a full employment market – also a challenge. But, no hill for a climber, and if you’re a strong, confident recruiting leader steep slopes don’t scare you!

     

    This role reports to me, Judy Morris, the Chief Human Resources Officer and Talent Junkie. I’ve reorganized the HR department to be tightly interdependent, in large part because recruiting needs all the support we can provide. Several of the HR functions work closely with the head of recruiting to provide services that ultimately ensure we hit our goals. For instance, HR Shared Services provide all the tasky, administrative work as well as initial resume review and vetting. HR Business Partners manage the onsite recruiters to ensure immediate oversight and support, while head of recruiting enjoys a dotted-line relationship with the field force for alignment. You will be at the head of key talent initiatives that will drive the company to meet our short and long term business objectives. This leader will need to have drive and determination to produce results within a complex and dynamic organization.

    • Managing the recruiting function for high volume sales and service agent-level positions
    • The most important function of this position is driving qualified applicant traffic. Sourcing and branding to develop a pipeline of quality, diversified candidates is key to success of this role
    • Leading, developing and communicating to a team of Talent Acquisition professionals
    • Working across the HR teams, and partnering with our Business Leaders
    • Aggressively taking ownership of hiring numbers and the success of the team
    • Managing your direct reports and vendor relationships
    • Leading large projects and facilitating group meetings
    • Managing a budget as well as you do people

    Qualifications

    You gotta have…

    • Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of people management experience
    • BA/BS Degree preferred
    • Proven success meeting the challenges of high volume and line level recruiting, preferably in a call-center environment
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Team player chops, and that means a propensity to work closely with others, share information freely and leverage the strengths of HR and business partners easily and often
    • Flexibility on ever-changing targets and business needs
    • Good behaviors, including transparency and professional maturity
    • A good work ethic and a great sense of humor. This HR team of 80 strong takes the work seriously while making absolute sure to have a good time getting it done
    • You are able to demonstrate, develop and manage recruiting programs related to staffing and diversity
