The product team is looking for an outstanding data analyst to join its growing organization. This person will play a central role in one of our company’s most highly visible departments, pulling insights from the data warehouse to guide strategic decisions of executives and shape the way that we serve our customers.
The incumbent will work closely with the directors of product and of marketing science, as well as a variety of cross-functional teams, to elucidate how our core product offerings produce meaningful results for our clients. They will do so as part of a data science team working on a range of compelling projects, from recommendation engines to lead scoring to marketing mix modelling.
Key to success in this role will be the ability to pull data using tools such as SQL, mySQL, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics; build models in R, Python, or Excel; and both visualize and communicate data-driven findings to less technical colleagues. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding storyteller, with the ability to show diverse audiences what the data say. They will draw on a range of visualization strategies (e.g., heat mapping, local regression) and analytical techniques (e.g., correlation, ANOVA, logistic regression, decision trees) to do so. A background in product development and financial services will be helpful, but not a necessity.
