  • Overview

    • Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of Progrexion payments processes, systems, and vendors.
    • Establish and maintain a thorough knowledge of payments-related regulatory and network industry compliance guidelines.
    • Provide compliance support to payment processing operations and servicing functions.
    • Participate in product, services, and system development to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Participate in timely and effective implementation of legal and regulatory changes.
    • Participate in the development and maintenance of compliance programs with appropriate internal controls, policies, procedures, communication vehicles, and monitoring.
    • Define a comprehensive set of metrics to track and measure payment processing risk, fraud, chargebacks, refunds, and other compliance related items.
    • Lead the effort to define and maintain an internal metrics dashboard leveraging internal and external (payment processor) data sources.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report KPI progress, remediation, and overall direction to Senior Exectuive team.
    • Build and nurture cross-functional relationships with other Progrexion departments (IT, Information Security, Compliance, Marketing, Legal, and Finance).
    • Understand the current landscape of vendor products/services and evaluate prospective vendors in support of business objectives, compliance, and daily payment processing.


    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience may be substituted for education.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience within credit card industry with a bank, credit card company, or professional services' firm that specializes in managing credit card servicing.
    • Able to effectively give, receive, and respond to feedback.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to a technical and non-technical audience including senior management.
    • Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and build rapport to influence colleagues at all levels, uncover issues, and identify needs.
    • Extremely detail oriented, excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Strong sense of ownership and accountability to deliver planned results.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
    • Strong expertise with using Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present large and complex data sets.
    • SQL skills – ability/willingness to learn to query complex database tables to support analysis.
    • Expertise and experience with risk management, banking, accounting, and financial control systems.
    • Aptitude to understand business impact/value of operational, contractual, and technological changes.
    • Ability to forge relationships with various business and technical team members and managers in order to identify, understand, and document detailed requirement.
