    Our Corporate Headquarters is seeking an Employee Benefits Consultant to add to our Human Resources team.  This position reports to the Director, Benefits and will provide day-to-day stewardship of processes, analysis, data reconciliations, reporting, communications and project management critical to the operation of the Company’s employee benefit plans.


    The Employee Benefits Consultant works closely with site HR generalists, HRIS, Payroll and numerous external vendors to ensure smooth delivery of all employee benefit plans, programs and policies.  These include 401(k), medical, dental, vision, well-being, flexible spending, HSA, EAP, life and disability, paid time off, absence management, and other ancillary plans.


    • Collaborate closely with internal HR partners, and other stakeholders to support the administration and communication of plans, programs and policies.
    • Research and resolve complex escalations from across the organization.
    • Identify and recommend process or system improvements stemming from escalations and on-going activity.
    • Develop and maintain documentation of critical employee benefits processes and procedures. Identify and propose process improvement opportunities and innovations.
    • Conduct regular data reconciliations and configuration reviews of all internal and external administrative systems associated with employee benefits programs and costs.
    • Play an active role in employee benefits education across the organization, including assisting with annual open enrollment meetings, webinars and well-being activities. Comfortable presenting information to employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Support information requests associated with routine audits and government reporting, and governance committee meetings.
    • Assist with peer and industry benchmark analyses, survey responses, and preparation of program design comparisons to other companies.
    • Provide project support around annual renewals, open enrollment, year-end vendor file updates and other special activity and projects as necessary.


    • Bachelor's degree and three years’ experience in employee benefits administration; or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
    • Working knowledge of the technical aspects of employee benefit plan administration and the regulatory environment in which benefit plans are operated.
    • A collaborative self-starter, with the ability to excel in a very fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
    • Very strong work ethic, collaborative orientation and eagerness to take on new assignments.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Working knowledge of HRIS/payroll systems required; UltiPro HRIS experience a plus.
    • CEBS or HR-related certifications a plus.


    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee will spend 80% of their time seated and / or working on a computer.  Walking, standing may be required for extended periods of time.  May need to lift up to 25lbs.
