Based in Utah, Idaho, Oklahoma, and Arizona, Progrexion leads the credit repair industry with groundbreaking technologies and services that help consumers access and understand information contained in their credit reports, verify whether that information is fair, accurate and substantiated, and correct inaccuracies with individual creditors, other data furnishers and the national credit bureaus.  Progrexion technology and services are used by Lexington Law, an independently-operated law firm, and CreditRepair.com, its wholly-owned subsidiary.

 

Job Summary

Responsible for the support, implementation and troubleshooting for enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for (UNIX, LINUX) and support of associated systems in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of corporate production and staging environments by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting issues. Applies upgrades to host system firmware and software, etc. Works with vendors to assist support activities.
  • Implement new systems and applications, custom scripts and testing procedures to ensure operational reliability. Trains technical staff in how to use new software and hardware developed and/or acquired.
  • Installs, modifies and maintains systems and utility software. Provides server support related to other software.
  • Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical environments.
  • Performs backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications.

 

This position may perform all or some of the responsibilities above and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in complex enterprise systems design, implementation, and support.
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.

 

 

Knowledge of

  • LINUX (Ubuntu and CentOS) system administration (installation, cron, Users Creation, Group Creation, Permissions, FTP, DNS, Proxy, Samba, LDAP, NFS, NIS), automation, scripting (bash, powerCLI, powershell, python), VMWare, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, SAN administration, system performance monitoring tools, Cisco UCS, NetApp, SaltStack.
  • Effective project management techniques; principles and practices of effective time management and communication skills.

 

Ability to

  • Plan, organize and document complex systems and configure systems to be consistent with policies/procedures
  • Communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing
  • Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
